Hand-Woven Silk Stole 【Haruzuki*07】
Materials: 80% Silk, 20% Wool
Size: Approx. 43cm x 180cm (excluding 8cm fringe)
This medium-sized stole is meticulously hand-woven using high-quality raw silk sourced from a reputable silk thread wholesaler in Nishijin, Kyoto. The silk is dyed in various hues from its original white thread to create a beautifully sheer and exceptionally lightweight stole that drapes elegantly.
The design features a check pattern created by combining three colors of silk threads with wool loop yarn. The interplay of warp and weft threads results in a rich, layered color palette. Fine silk threads highlight the thicker wool, lending a wonderfully soft and airy texture.
With a fine warp density of 678 threads and a single-twisted silk yarn treated with a gentle three-stage scouring process, the stole offers a smooth, crisp feel akin to organza. Silk's excellent moisture-wicking and thermal properties make this stole suitable for year-round wear.
