Vintage 60’s French Army Cape Coat
The inspiration for this coat comes from the French Army's cape coats of the 1960s.
What captivated me most was the subtle cape detail at the shoulders, perfectly proportioned.
It's not as voluminous as the detective capes seen in films,
nor as understated as the later British trench coats.
Shi Zhou has made slight modifications based on this original design,
resulting in this unique cape coat.
We ultimately chose this green plaid fabric, which perfectly complements the coat's character.
Classic plaids never disappoint.
