Backstory
Inspired by the golden-faced Mazu in the Tianhou Temple in Tainan. Mazu's original name was Lin Moniang. She ascended to heaven and attained enlightenment at the age of twenty-eight. Because of her chastity, benevolence, and filial piety, she often guarded fishermen at the seaside and was worshiped as the God of the Sea. The common facial colors of Taiwanese Mazu are skin color (pink-faced mother), golden (gold-faced mother), and black (black-faced mother).
Mazu is also called the Goddess. When I first chose the name of this coffee bean, I specifically asked Mazu if she could be called the Goddess. But Mazu didn’t want to be called the Goddess, so she smiled and asked if she could just be called the Goddess. She immediately got three Holy Grails. This is really mysterious. Inspired by Mazu, this coffee bean symbolizes protection and blessing, delivering a profound and lasting taste bud experience.
