Just like mixing paint to create colors, this card wallet reinterprets the color palette of an artwork into seven distinct color layers by combining yarns of various hues and textures. Inspired by Auguste Renoir’s 1874 masterpiece “The Dancer,” it reflects the soft interplay of colors in the dancer’s pale blue dress and the green-tinted background, crafted using a blend of over 20 types of yarn.
To capture the delicate details of the dress, I created a base with varying tones of pale blue for each layer, then gradually infused it with hints of green, peach, and blue, mimicking a softly painted effect.
*Petite : H 11xW 6.8
Grande : H 11.6xW 7.4
(There may be a ±1cm margin of error).
**Grande ver. has a slightly larger size and a snap closure on the inside of the holder.
