Glass Fusing is a technique where various glass materials—such as sheets, frits, and powders—are combined and fired in an electric kiln.
Fired at temperatures up to 800°C, these glass works are glossy and beautiful, allowing you to enjoy the transparency and colors unique to glass.
The infinite combinations of patterns and colors make this a truly inspiring craft.
This small dish was created using this fusing technique.
After shaping the transparent glass into a 4-petal flower motif, we colored it using extremely fine glass powder. Inspired by spring blooms, we added yellow accents to a pale pink base.
While the glass powder itself is opaque, we adjust the thickness to achieve a semi-translucent finish, allowing you to appreciate the inherent clarity of glass.
Ideal for serving Japanese sweets like Yokan, Nerikiri, or Daifuku with tea.
Perfect as a side dish for chocolate or meringue cookies with coffee.
It also functions beautifully as an accessory tray.
A versatile piece for various occasions.
The price is for one dish, and the item delivered will be the one shown in the photos.
Due to the nature of the mold used, there may be a slight wobble, but it does not affect functionality.
Using a cloth placemat underneath will ensure a stable experience.
Please note this is not heat-resistant glass; avoid boiling water and sudden temperature changes.
We hope you enjoy the layers of color, transparency, and texture woven by glass.
