"1891 Hand-blown glass perfume bottle with Silver cap from London, England, Victorian era"
The rectangular bottle body is equipped with cut corners, which is not overly decorative but can reflect the light. The slightly raised bottom of the bottle makes us speculate that the bottle should be hand-blown glass. In addition to the simple but beautiful bottle body, the bottle cap is even more exciting - delicate etched lines, different thicknesses and shades make the pattern layered. The Silver cap has a complete British precious metal identification mark Full English Hallmarks on the side, indicating that the bottle cap is Silver sterling silver The purity has been certified by the Assay office in London. It belongs to the font Q in 1891 and the manufacturer is WG William Geiger. This perfume bottle is undoubtedly the best product of that era.
This Victorian-era Silver-topped glass bottle has a classic shape. In order to present a timeless and noble style, many contemporary fragrance brands will have a hint of antiques in their designs. For example, some of Jo Malone's perfume bottles look a bit similar to it at first glance. ?
Even though it is more than a hundred years old, this glass bottle is still practical. You can put your favorite room diffuser solution into it for later use, or fill it with scented essential oils, massage essential oils, and sea salts that you can smell/apply. The soothing fragrance is paired with the delightful British antique Silver-topped glass bottle from the Victorian era. It is these key details that enhance the quality of life. If you like this product, don't hesitate, because there will be fewer and fewer vintage items with complete stamps, and the condition of each item is different. It can be said to be unique. If you miss it, you will only feel more regretful.
This object is a second-hand antique, purchased from a British antiquities collector. The perfume bottle has traces of time. Considering that it is more than a hundred years old, the overall condition is excellent. Cracks on the cork pad inside the Silver cap are inevitable, but will not affect the use of the perfume bottle. Our used/antique Silver products are gently cleaned before sale, but we will not forcefully remove all Silver spots or oxidation marks to avoid affecting the collection value of antiques.
