【Playful Beginnings】 The Start of Sanshing Four Seasons - Ruddy-breasted Crake
During summer in Sanshing Township, one might occasionally spot a ruddy-breasted crake dashing across the road, often followed by a few small, dark chicks. This curiosity about the vanishing chicks sparked a journey of observation, documentation, and illustration, ultimately leading to the creation of Sanshing Four Seasons Blue and White. The crake's naturally playful demeanor has become the spirit and logo of Sanshing Four Seasons. Next time you drive through Sanshing, join us in keeping an eye out for these delightful little birds.

【Neighborly Bonds】 Local Friendship
Living in Sanshing, it's common to find vegetables from neighbors casually left at your doorstep. A significant spirit in Yilan is the willingness to "do the work." Crops are planted not only on personal land but also on water conservancy land, riverbanks, and roadsides – anywhere there's soil.

【Everlasting Life】 Pristine Dragonflies
Nestled against the mountains, Sanshing boasts abundant water. The sandy ditches and waterways along the fields are often teeming with dragonfly and damselfly nymphs, guppies, and small shrimp. Larger canals are home to tilapia, Thai bitterlings, mitten crabs, soft-shelled turtles, and other aquatic life. The survival of dragonflies is intrinsically linked to clean water sources and ecological cycles, making them a symbol of health and purity.

【Accumulation】 Grains Gathering into Mounds
The Lanyang River and its tributary, the Luodong River, which encircle Sanshing, are characterized by vast expanses of silver grass and gravelly riverbeds.
During the plum rain season in April and May, floods carry down sand and gravel from upstream.
Along the Lanyang River, the rumbling sounds of gravel screening machines and falling stones from sand and gravel plants can be heard.
Grain by grain, they accumulate into mounds, forming conical hills of grey along the riverbanks.

【Crimson Adornment】 An-Nong Creek's Chinese Hackberry
Along the An-Nong Creek in Xingjian Village, amidst the beautiful bald cypress forests, stand several Chinese hackberry trees that bear fruit in winter. Clusters of small, round, red fruits hang abundantly from the branches, adorning the verdant banks of the An-Nong Creek with a touch of crimson.

【Gazing at the Sea, Listening to the Waves】 Beiguan Tidal Park
As you wander through the park, the landscape unfolds with unique monoclinal mountains and the geological formations of Toufu Cape. Following the pathways built along the terrain, flanked by towering rocks, you'll feel as though you're navigating through a rugged stone maze. From the observation deck, listen to the tides crashing against the shore, with the captivating Guishan Island and the boundless Pacific Ocean stretching before you – a view that invites lingering and soothes the soul.
【Craftsmanship】
Hand-glazed. Blue and White Stamping
★ This piece is handcrafted, embracing a free-spirited feel and natural variations. Due to high-temperature firing, the final shape may not be perfectly round, and each piece will have slight differences in size and form.
The white glaze on the artwork is hand-dipped, resulting in natural flowing patterns and occasional marks. The hand-stamped blue and white designs will exhibit variations in color intensity after firing. You may occasionally notice natural brown iron spots or blue glaze specks. Please refrain from ordering if you have extremely high expectations for color consistency.
