Chimchiminey's Story ~Chimchiminey. story~ Have you ever wondered if there might be creatures in this world living lives similar to humans, besides us? Perhaps a hidden world is quietly living right beside us. That's the story. Chimchiminey, with its chimney-shaped smile. Their occupation is a chimney sweep. Their job is to clean the soot from chimneys. And Hesoguma, the bear with a belly button. Works as Chimchiminey's assistant. Chimchiminey and Hesoguma are very good friends. On holidays, they enjoy their days by gathering mushrooms and berries, taking walks with their forest friends, and baking sweets. Occasionally, they sneak into the human world to pilfer sweets or play pranks. Watching them from afar is the One-Eyed Monster! The Tear Monster. Despite its scary appearance, it is very kind. It survives by consuming human sadness. It tries to cheer up people who are crying and sad by giving them delicious sweets and bread. And then there are characters like Hesoguruma (sloth) and Hesoneko (cat) that make quiet appearances. These works are themed around such a world, a tiny, tiny world where they live.
