Mino Washi cherry blossom petal brooch

"Oh, there are cherry blossom petals on it." We made cherry blossom petals out of Mino washi paper that look so lifelike you'll want to call out to them. Whether you love brooches or are not familiar with them, I aimed to create a piece that would allow people to enjoy spring and brooches without feeling self-conscious. Since it's just one petal, you can use it on clothes, bags, hats, pouches, etc... You can also enjoy it like a badge. By creating the texture of washi paper, we were able to get closer to the fibrous appearance of the petals, resulting in a more realistic look. The petals are colored with paint, and the faint pink gradation is created by using paint bleeding. The back of the brooch is thickly coated with resin to withstand the pressure of putting on and taking off. Why not enjoy this spring with unfading cherry blossom petals? About the materials The cosmos design is made using Mino washi paper (machine-made washi paper) produced in Gifu Prefecture. Mino washi paper is made by bleaching kozo, the raw material for washi paper, thoroughly over a period of time using plenty of water from the clear Nagara River in Gifu Prefecture. Mino washi paper is made by pouring all the blessings of Gifu into it. Although the product has been coated with resin to make it durable and water resistant, please do not immerse it in water for long periods of time or leave it wet. There is a possibility of discoloration, color transfer, and deterioration of the metal fittings. If it gets wet, gently wipe off the water with tissue paper or a soft cloth and dry it thoroughly. When not wearing the product, keep the metal parts clean, avoid high temperatures and humidity, and store in a well-ventilated place out of direct sunlight.
