Avoid wiping the darkened crevices with a silver polishing cloth, and do not soak it in silver cleaning solution, as this will remove the layered effect. • Silver is a relatively soft metal. Treat it gently and with care. Avoid pulling forcefully or dropping it. Do not let it collide or rub against other metals, stainless steel, or hard objects to prevent scratches. • Silver naturally oxidizes over time.
