Flat, rimmed 5" dish. It comes in three colors and two designs.
The design is the most distinctive feature of Koishiwara ware, the hopping plane and the brushstroke.
Ame-iro and blue are decorated with hopping planes, while white is decorated with brushstrokes.
The white 5" dish in particular is a new design.
Tomitaka Ota of Maruwa Kiln arranged the traditional technique of Hakeme through trial and error to create a unique texture.
The touch of the brush is directly transformed into the design, and a texture and pattern never seen before appear on a single plate.
The plate is finished to show various expressions depending on the way the light hits it.
The versatile 5" size is very useful for serving dishes, dessert dishes, and side dishes.
It will become an indispensable dish for your daily dining table.
When used as a set with the 7" plate, it will add color to your dining table with its well-arranged beauty.
