Mushroom hair pins

Lenght of usable part of hair pin ~ 12-13 cm, if you need them shorter or longer let us know before order. These hair pins are smooth. Not dirty, don't tear your hair, don't scratch your head. Copper mushroom hair sticks perfectly hold even a solid mass of hair. Looks good in pair. This hair jewelry has not been cast from a mold but has a thin coat of copper over an original object from nature, making each piece unique. Just as in nature there will be flaws. Occasionally there may be a tear to a butterfly wing or hole in a leaf. I tend to be drawn to the 'wear,' finding it infinitely more beautiful and interesting than the flawless perfection of manufactured pieces. Please note and consider these imperfections prior to purchase. Every piece is hammered by hand, sanded and fitted and heat treated (yes you have to heat treat copper), so it's a unique artisan object that isn't mass produce. It is a very durable, sturdy and practical hair pin that will hold a chignon like nothing else. It takes a bit of learning to do it properly but once you get the hang of it, you will wear it quite often.
