Arita-yaki refers to the general term for ceramics produced in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture, Kyushu, Japan. Arita, as a leader in Japanese porcelain firing, was able to get the opportunity to create ceramic craftsmanship, mainly from the Wanli Korean War in the 16th century. In this war, Japan invaded the Korean peninsula and brought local ceramic craftsmen back to the territory of Kyushu, so that Japan, when the porcelain technology was just emerging, had the opportunity to master more advanced production methods. In the early 17th century, the Korean ceramic craftsman Li Samping succeeded in excavating the white porcelain ore of the spring mountain in Arita, and the Houtian white porcelain was born.
The most representative styles of Arita-yaki can be divided into three styles: Kakinemon, Koimari and Ironabeshima. The teapot style belongs to the style of Kakiemon, and its main feature is the muddy hand, which in Chinese translates to the milky white porcelain body. However, the milky white here is not the usual turbid milky white, but as dense and moist as cream, from a distance it looks like jade, and when viewed from a distance, it is vaguely clear and transparent like glass. In addition, Kakiemon's technique is characterized by "turbid hand red painting", that is, the quality of the Stone is changed after adding the stone material and bone ashes of Iwatani River to increase the composition of calcium phosphate. Then, after glazing and firing, it appears milky white, which is called turbid hand. Warm tones such as red, yellow, purple and green are applied to the milky white blanks, with the theme of flowers, plants, birds and animals. The asymmetrical milky white space brings out the slenderness and beauty of the painted patterns.

Porcelain maintenance methods are as follows:
1. Wash by hand when cleaning, because the porcelain body glaze is delicate and easily scratched. Remember not to use a rough cloth to clean, so as not to scratch the surface of the porcelain.
2. Wash the porcelain with water, the water temperature should not exceed 70 degrees, and do not soak the porcelain in hot water for too long, so as not to affect the external appearance of the porcelain.
3. After the porcelain is cleaned, let it dry naturally, or wipe it with a soft cloth, and do not put it in drying equipment such as high-temperature disinfection cupboards.
4. If there are stains on the porcelain, it is best to wash it off immediately, and do not let the stains stay on the porcelain for a long time. If the china is stained with tea or coffee, it can be cleaned with lemon juice or vinegar.
5. When cleaning porcelain in winter, control the water temperature to prevent the porcelain from bursting due to freezing or hot water. It is best to use wooden or plastic basins for cleaning porcelain, and avoid using porcelain and Cement basins to avoid damage to the porcelain.
