**◈ A Word from the Designer**
"The Stone of Wealth," citrine, shines with a clear, bright luster, complemented by lapis lazuli, the "Sacred Stone for Imperial Sacrifices to Heaven," and cloisonné butterflies symbolizing good fortune. The overall piece exudes an understated elegance, a beauty that speaks for itself, imbued with auspicious energy for wealth and good luck.
**Citrine**
Citrine, also known as the "Stone of Wealth." In ancient Greek mythology, citrine emitted a powerful beacon of wealth at night, aiding the hero Jason in his quest for the throne. Thus, it is believed that possessing citrine brings the blessings of Plutus, the Greek god of wealth, ensuring abundant prosperity.
Natural citrine boasts a clear and refined hue; pieces with a light, transparent color are considered the finest.
In ancient times, citrine was formed when amethyst was naturally heated, making its natural occurrence rare. Prolonged exposure to radiation can deepen its color, gradually shifting towards purple. Modern times have seen the rise of artificially produced citrine, whose natural qualities and energy have been compromised through processing.
**Lapis Lazuli**
Records indicate that Chinese people have used lapis lazuli for over five thousand years, with Egyptians using it even earlier, around eight thousand years ago. Chinese emperors throughout history offered sacrifices to Heaven using lapis lazuli, as its blue hue mirrors the sky, leading people to believe it is a gem that connects with the heavens. The ancient Egyptians believed it facilitated communication with the afterlife.
The finest lapis lazuli in the world originates from Afghanistan. Afghan lapis lazuli is renowned for its deep, commanding blue, earning it the reputation of "Imperial Blue."
When selecting lapis lazuli, look for pieces with a natural distribution of blue, white (calcite), and gold (pyrite) inclusions. As lapis lazuli forms near the earth's surface, it has numerous pores and is sensitive to prolonged water exposure. It is recommended to occasionally nourish it with mineral oil.
**Cloisonné (Filigree Enamel, Burned Blue)**
Cloisonné, scientifically known as copper-chased enamel. This craft originated in the ancient Near East. As early as the 19th century BCE, Egyptian pharaohs used it to create necklaces, often inlaid with gemstones. The Eastern Roman Empire later elevated this art form to great heights. It was introduced to China during the Yuan Dynasty and reached its zenith during the Jingtai reign of the Ming Dynasty, hence its name "Jingtai Lan" (Jingtai Blue).
Exquisite cloisonné pieces feature lustrous, vibrant colors, a substantial and robust base, neat and symmetrical filigree, and brilliant gold plating. It embodies the warmth of jade, the radiance of jewels, and the delicacy of porcelain. Consequently, the cloisonné craft is intricate and costly.

**◈ Care and Collection**
1. Natural gemstones possess natural luster and unique textures (such as minute black spots, internal fractures, ice cracks, cloudy inclusions, mineral defects, and asymmetry). With regular wear, you may observe subtle color changes, often becoming more translucent and captivating – this is the best form of care.
Natural organic gemstones (like coral and amber) have low hardness and are sensitive to acids and alkalis. When cleaning dirt, avoid detergents; simply rinse with clean water and wipe with a soft cloth. You may also gently brush with a soft brush dipped in a small amount of mineral oil (such as baby oil).
2. Metal jewelry has a long lifespan; avoid external damage or exposure to strong acids and alkalis that may cause fading.
3. Fabric components (ribbons, cotton, gauze) are soft and comfortable; they have a long lifespan but should be kept away from high temperatures, external damage, or strong acids and alkalis that may cause fading.
4. For any jewelry material, when encountering dirt, it is advisable to wipe with a soft cloth dampened with water as appropriate, or use a suitable amount of neutral detergent for compatible materials. After washing, ensure prompt drying.
5. When removed, store jewelry properly, sealed from excess air to slow oxidation and discoloration. Avoid stacking or pressing heavily.
