→ Product Introduction Ru ware, historically renowned as the foremost of the five great ceramics of the Song Dynasty, features a lustrous glaze and a texture like congealed fat. Its understated elegance and refined beauty made it an unparalleled ceramic masterpiece of the Song era. Master Ye's Ru porcelain has an appropriate iron content and controlled reduction, resulting in a body that appears grayish-brown. The glaze shifts between sky blue and powder blue under different light sources, creating a sense of fusion between the earth and the glaze. The crackles on the glaze are as fine as fish scales, gradually deepening in color after contact with tea, enhancing its润泽 (moist and lustrous) quality. Furthermore, this piece is embellished with streaks of copper red, also known as oxblood red, on the body. This not only increases the difficulty of firing but also adds a vibrant splash of color to the Ru ware.
