Embroidered patches are commonly known as fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidered emblems. However, most require ironing to adhere, typically to fabric surfaces for decoration or to mend holes. HiHi embroidered patches have an adhesive backing that sticks without ironing, making them suitable for smooth, non-fabric surfaces. They're perfect as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more. Let's create something unique with these patches! 🏷 How do I use embroidered patches? Using HiHi embroidered patches is simple! ▪️ For smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing needed, and they stay put! ▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C (300°F). Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery. Iron for 20-25 seconds, then let it cool completely to ensure a secure bond. For added durability, we recommend sewing around the edges. If you don't have an iron, sewing them on with a machine or by hand will also ensure they stay firmly attached! 🏷 What if I can't iron or am unsure about ironing the fabric? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabrics) or if you're uncertain about ironing, we recommend sewing the patch on with a sewing machine or by hand to avoid damaging your fabric with heat. 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will it fall off easily? HiHi embroidered patches have a strong adhesive that resists peeling on general smooth, non-fabric surfaces. If applying to fabric (like clothing, pants, hats, etc.), ironing and sewing will enhance durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches come off if washed? Once ironed and reinforced with sewing, the embroidered patches can be machine washed without easily coming off. We suggest washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive on HiHi embroidered patches is for single use and cannot be reapplied. Please decide on the placement before attaching. If you remove the patch and wish to reuse it, the fabric patch itself can still be sewn onto fabric for decoration! 🏷 Will there be adhesive residue after removing the patch? Due to the strong adhesive, some residue may remain after removal. This can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive solvents. Please test the remover on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesn't damage your item's surface.
