Broken or chipped ceramics that would otherwise be discarded are repurposed, mended with Kintsugi, and reborn as accessories. The concept behind these creations is to allow wearers to feel a connection to nature and Japan's enduring traditions, transforming them into modern accessories that bridge the past and future, fostering new possibilities. Elegant pottery fragments in a deep gray hue are adorned with freshwater pearls. The sides of the pottery pieces are finished with Kintsugi, allowing the gold to shimmer from every angle and adding a touch of refined grace. This piece is created using a modern, simplified Kintsugi technique. Unlike traditional Kintsugi which uses real urushi (tree sap), this method uses adhesive for the main bond.
