Early collection of naturally weathered *shari* trunk. Often found after being struck by lightning or displaced by landslides in nature, with a broken main trunk exposing the woody core. Featuring partial or localized *suisen* (water lines), these are collected and cultivated as bonsai trees, continuing to grow. A multi-year cultivation, exhibition-grade bonsai tree. Branches emerge more than halfway up the main trunk, forming an elegant, scholarly "literati" tree shape. The *shari* trunk of this *Poliomintha* is not artificially carved, but a product of natural breakage. The interplay between the weathered wood *shari* and swollen *suisen* creates water lines, round and fuller than a drinking straw, inviting contemplation of the flowing patterns of the *shari* trunk. Truly unique and rare to find. The exterior's imperfections and rustic simplicity evoke a sense of timelessness, a testament to overcoming nature's trials, with green life subtly emerging.
