Please be especially careful about color transfer, particularly when first using it. Avoid wearing light-colored clothing initially. ◾️ Scars and Vein Marks Scars and vein marks that the animal acquired during its lifetime remain on the surface and back. Because this is natural leather made to embrace its original characteristics, each piece has its own unique texture and becomes one-of-a-kind. ◾️ Color Variation Leather finished only with dyes, without using pigments, is difficult to color-adjust, resulting in inevitable color variations. There are differences even within the same color of leather. This dye finish creates the genuine, leathery atmosphere of natural leather. ◾️ Variation in Texture and Graining (Shibo) "Shibo" refers to the wrinkled pattern on the leather surface. Even within one piece of hide, there are areas with more wrinkles and areas with fewer. These differences are part of the charm of natural leather. ◾️ The mark of Italian Leather: A number indicating the size of the hide The number on the back surface is a mark of Italian leather. It is stamped once on each hide and indicates the size of the leather. We use it as is because the characters have a good atmosphere and are stamped on a high-quality part of the leather. Therefore, it may rarely appear on the product. Personally, I prefer products with the number visible. ◾️ Water Stains The leather can absorb water and become stained. You can prevent stains by wiping off any moisture as quickly as possible. Applying Renapur Leather Treatment provides a water-repellent effect. ◾️ Tiger Stripes (Tora) These are streak-like patterns or wrinkles that appear in areas of the hide that experience intense stretching due to movement. They are one of the special, inherent characteristics of natural leather and are absolutely not precursors to cracks or fissures. ◾️ Luxury Full-Leather Construction without Lining, using only sturdy leather Typical leather products often use thin, processed leather combined with core material for strength, and a lining on the inside. However, unlike leather, the lining often deteriorates first over time, becoming sticky or crumbling. To ensure longer use, this wallet is made using a luxurious, full-leather construction with no lining, relying solely on the thickness and strength of the quality leather. ◾️ Maintenance The Italian leather used by LADIES & GENTLEMEN shows a longer, more lustrous, and deeper aging (patina) when maintained with oil. Apply oil to bags approximately once every 3 to 6 months. We recommend Renapur, which we carry in our online store. Renapur is a leather treatment that provides conditioning, polishing, and water-repellent effects. Small leather goods, which are frequently touched, will change to a glossy color without needing applied oil. ◾️ Returns and Exchanges Please note that returns or exchanges are not possible unless the product is defective.
