**This Bufu quilted jacket features 3M Thinsulate™ insulation, a renowned warming technology developed for outdoor use and a superior alternative to down.**
**Developed by 3M in the USA, Thinsulate™ fibers were initially created for the Marine Corps before becoming available for civilian use in 1988. It boasts high loft for excellent heat retention, offering 1.5 times the warmth of down at the same thickness, while being considerably lighter.**
**Unlike down, which can lose insulating properties when damp, Thinsulate™ absorbs only 1% of its weight in moisture, ensuring consistent warmth even in humid conditions.**
