Exquisite Art Card, More Than Just a Postcard~ Size: 12.8*17.8cm (Larger than a standard postcard) Paper: 320gsm Scented Paper Inspired by depictions of Pankration on ancient Greek pottery. After observing our own cats engaging in full-contact sparring at home, we were inspired to create artwork featuring cats in a sports meet/martial arts competition. Wikipedia: "Pankration, also known as 'Ancient Greek Freestyle Combat', is a loosely translated term. A transliteration is Pankration. It was a combat sport with few rules in the ancient Olympic Games. It allowed the use of boxing, wrestling, and other practical fighting techniques in a virtually unrestricted hand-to-hand combat match. It represented humanity's most primal instincts and the true clash of instinct. Due to the intensity of this fighting technique, some sources indicate that Pankration placed significant importance on moral values in its later development."
