Teak server spoon made of solid wood.
The warmth of handicrafts scraped with fleas remains firmly, but it is not thick, it is a small size, and it is a compact size that does not give too much power even when combined with a container at the table.
The surface of the spoon is carefully shaved without any thickness, and the slope of the dent is firmly attached, and the tip is slightly wider so it is easy to take even with juicy dishes. The traces carved by hand are also used, which makes it more fun.
The handle part has a shape close to an ellipse, but it is also hand-cut into a shape that is easy to grip. The shape is beautiful, but it fits comfortably in your hand and is easy to hold.
Although it has a simple shape, the surface of the spoon and the handle have a slight trace of shaving with a chisel, and you can feel the polite handiwork. The finely carved cutlery looks great, but it also helps to balance the ease of holding and the overall weight of the cutlery. If you bring the real thing, I would like you to see it from various angles. There is no place where you can feel the roughness and thickness, and it is simply carved and shaped, and the feeling that it fits in your hand is comfortable.
Produced by Makoto Miyazaki of "Jamunchi" who makes woodwork products in Osaka. Various types of wood are handled, but they are manufactured by combining processing techniques by looking at the appropriateness and expression of each grain and shape. He is a writer who does really detailed and polite work such as hand shaving and finish painting.
This server spoon was originally made.
From the left of the 5th photo, there are 3 types of trees: tamo, cherry, and teak. Tamo has a whitish color, cherry has a slight redness, and teak has a dark color.
(2-4th photo: Cherry of another tree species)
(The 6th photo shows cherry, tamo, and cheek from the left.)
The finish is oil and beeswax. After the organic hemp seed oil, it is applied with beeswax cream. The wood shavings made from the same three tree species are unpainted, but the oil and beeswax are more familiar and darker than that.
