Quick, open your umbrella and let your skirt fly. ☼ Children of Midsummer Love the Rain ☼ This creation was born from a deep love for rainy days. The swinging black elements represent clouds, and also the skirts that dance with every stride. These motifs brim with a unique interaction with nature, hence the deliberate asymmetry. Swarovski crystals are added for refraction, mimicking sunlight breaking through clouds and rain. Tapered faceted beads and Japanese seed beads shimmer with a delicate sparkle, like the sound of rain falling by your ear. ∞ This is an experimental series, an attempt to materialize concepts from my mind, filled with imagination and spontaneity (laughs). Achieving this beautiful, flowing drape was incredibly challenging... Intentional symmetry during the process stripped away the graceful, light feel. Instead, I let natural imagination guide the design. The finished product exceeded my expectations. It possesses a certain whimsical, spirited charm.
