We discovered such a delightful fabric! It features cat silhouettes against a classic "Tatewaku" (rising steam) pattern. We imagined it would make a lovely yukata, but then thought, "What if it became an even more charming bag?" And so, we created a simple tote bag, preserving the fabric's bold design. The fabric, a yukata bolt called "Mencoubai," has thicker cotton threads woven both vertically and horizontally, creating a subtle grid pattern when viewed up close. The lining is a crisp, 11-ounce canvas. It can be used on either side, making it reversible.
