A plate made by carefully carving a chestnut tree.
Dry chestnut trees contain a lot of air because the wood conduits (tubes that suck water) are thick. Therefore, it feels warm to the touch. Also, there is a large difference in texture between the parts of the annual rings grown in summer and the parts grown in winter, so it is interesting to see the wave pattern clearly when digging with a round chisel.
The size is just right to put bread on.
It is painted with natural oil and walnut oil.
The loaf of bread in the photo is Seven-Eleven loaf of gold.
Size 180 x 175 x 14 mm
*Price for one plate.
*Since it is made by hand using natural wood, the grain and color of each piece may differ. The image should be a sample.
