Glass Pearl All-Knot Short Necklace / 6mm Approx. 37cm + 5cm / White Cream / R / Made in Japan Vintage This is a Japanese-made glass pearl necklace. The core glass beads are layered with our original pearl coating, applied meticulously in multiple coats. Each pearl is carefully hand-knotted, creating an all-knot finish. These are unused stock glass pearls, manufactured and exported from our factory in the 1980s for American costume jewelry brands. They have been stored in bags within our warehouse, maintaining their beautiful luster and color. Each piece has undergone further inspection before being selected for this collection. The pearl color is a white cream hue, characterized by its fine texture and subtle sheen. The pearls are a slightly smaller size, approximately 6mm in diameter. The total length is about 37-38cm, slightly shorter than a standard princess length. An adjuster is attached to the end, allowing for approximately 5cm of adjustment for a comfortable fit. The benefits of an all-knot necklace include enhanced durability; if the string breaks, the pearls remain secured, minimizing loss. The knots prevent the pearls from rubbing against each other, reducing scratches. Additionally, the slight separation between pearls allows the necklace to drape more comfortably around the neck. Their quality is well-maintained, with no peeling or significant scratches. Occasionally, small pinholes or minor indentations may be present, but these have been inspected and are considered within acceptable quality standards.
