This series records the scenery seen during dives, reinterpreting these memories with watercolors using the colors and atmosphere captured in the moment. ✦ Mexican Caves｜Inspired by the experience of diving in Tulum on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, this set explores the world's largest underground cave and river system, showcasing layers of halocaust, stalagmites, stalactites, and other wonders. ✦ Thresher cleaning station at dawn | At dawn breaks, it’s the perfect time for thresher to emerge from the deep sea into shallower waters where the water is still cool and hasn't been warmed by the sun. They then use the cleaning stations to feed the smaller fish on parasites – a mutually beneficial relationship. The craftsmanship, structural design, and choice of hardwood materials to keep the boat stable on the surface are fascinating. ✦ Mermaid Encounter | A collaboration with French designer Erwan depicts a scene where divers, wearing heavy old-fashioned equipment, encounter a mermaid during underwater exploration. Those pioneers of that era, who began to expand the potential of human activity in the sea, invented various equipment and conducted structural research, inspiring people passionate about marine life and the underwater world, creating an important historical context for recreational diving today. Every step from zero to where we are today has involved a lot of thought and effort. ✦ Hammerhead Shark Storm | The hammerhead shark is one of the most recently evolved of the more than 500 shark species, representing one of the most streamlined body designs in biological evolution. Its two-sided "hammerheads" enhance sensory capabilities, binocular vision, and maneuvering. It is a highly social shark species, so in certain seasons and locations, hammerhead sharks schooling can be seen!
