A bar of peace soap to help you protect your own tranquil space!
Gathering noon water from Tie Shan in Da Jia during the Dragon Boat Festival, harvesting fresh mugwort, abutilon, hyssop, and lemongrass at noon... the warm sun, the scent of peaceful plants filling my hands, it felt as if my heart was cleansed by peace.
The hope is to use these plants, harvested when the sun's energy is at its peak for the year, to create a peace soap that brings peace and reassurance to those who use it!
"If one upholds the Lotus Sutra, their body is exceedingly pure,
Like pure lapis lazuli, all beings rejoice in seeing them." — Lotus Sutra
There are many factors in designing a good soap: stable oils, layered fragrances... but beyond these, the most important elements are the pure heart and compassionate mind that the maker cultivates in their daily life.
Each Noon Sun Mugwort Peace Soap is made while listening to the Green Tara mantra, with boundless compassion and tenderness welling up in my heart, praying that the peace soap can wash away worries and bring forth a pure heart.

Just received the essential oils of Abutilon theophrasti (Abutilon theophrasti) and Hyssop (Qian Ai) for the first time a couple of days ago. The Abutilon theophrasti essential oil has a rich herbal aroma, while the Hyssop essential oil is comparatively delicate and gentle. These two peace plants, most familiar to Taiwanese people, give the peace soap, now in its 11th year of production, a more authentic Taiwanese peace plant aroma.
Abutilon theophrasti, Hyssop, Mugwort, Acorus gramineus, and Lemongrass – the Five Gentlemen of Peaceful Plants – will be the stars of this year's new fragrance blend. The Mugwort essential oil from Canada, with a color like a bright, clear green lake water, is very expensive, costing ten times the price of a good quality red wine. Abutilon theophrasti, Hyssop, and Acorus gramineus essential oils are also quite precious, especially Hyssop essential oil, which has a very low extraction yield and costs almost double that of other peace plants.
In addition to the Five Gentlemen of Peaceful Plants essential oils, we've also added Juniper Berry and Black Spruce essential oils, masters of Western energetic protection. Juniper has purifying and protective functions, bringing a healing energy field; Black Spruce possesses strong vitality, protecting and stabilizing one's personal energy field.
Whether in Taiwan or traveling abroad, let these Eastern and Western peace plants join hands to form a protective barrier, taking good care of everyone's peace and energy.
Modern people are very busy and may not have time to sit down for quiet meditation. Why not take advantage of your daily bath time? When using the peace soap to bathe, visualize the water flowing from the showerhead as pure, sweet dew, pouring into your entire body from the top of your head, washing away all excess emotions and stress. Then, visualize pure white light, imbued with the energy of peaceful plants and the positive energy of noon water, slowly filling every cell of your body through your pores, enveloping your entire being in white light, filling you with the power of pure, good intentions.
🦠 Noon Sun Peace Soap Series Design Elements:
|| Extreme Yang Water — Every year on the Dragon Boat Festival, at 6 AM, we go to the Sword Well of Tie Shan in Da Jia to collect noon water. The Sword Well has been flowing continuously for 300 years without drying up. Tie Shan itself faces the sun, and collecting noon water on the Yang Day (Dragon Boat Festival), Yang Hour (Noon), and Yang Land (Tie Shan) has been known since ancient times to attract wealth, ward off evil, and resolve misfortune.
|| Extreme Yang Herbs — The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as the Duan Yang Festival, on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, has the strongest positive energy of the year. Between 11 AM and 1 PM on the Dragon Boat Festival, the owner harvests the Four Gentlemen of Peace – mugwort, abutilon, hyssop, lemongrass, and other peace plants – from the red soil of her family's home in Qing Shui.
|| Herbal Green Gem — "If one has an illness for seven years, they seek mugwort from three years ago." (Mencius, Li Lou). Canadian imported mugwort essential oil, Indian imported abutilon, hyssop, and other peace essential oils purify the body, ward off evil, bring good fortune and peace, and calm the mind.
|| Chanting Blessings of Peace — Green Tara signifies the mother of all sentient beings, a manifestation of the tears of Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva. With her left foot bent and right foot extended, seated on a lotus throne, she is ready to save all beings and alleviate fear and suffering at any moment.
