Loewe key ring - coffee (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎). 100% authentic pre-owned, handcrafted in Spain circa the 80s-90s!
If you're deep into the Loewe pre-owned scene or have been following it, you'll notice that pieces with prominent large logos are rare.
Loewe was truly understated back then; most items, even with large logos, featured them subtly or discreetly.
For instance, they might use tonal stitching or a tone-on-tone effect, not ostentatious but clearly visible. Accessories with large logos are even rarer.
After spending considerable time in the pre-owned world, you'll discover that accessories are often harder to find than bags, especially those in good condition.
This is because if they are used, their usage rate is likely higher than that of bags (you either use them until the end or put them away).
Consider a wallet; typically, if you find it suitable, you'll use it until it's worn out or only replace it if you have a specific need.
Therefore, wallets are generally found in either pristine, like-new condition or in poor condition, with very few in between.
Accessories tend to follow this pattern, making it challenging to find them in good condition. But! There are many treasures among vintage accessories!
A vast variety and selection! And generally, the price point isn't too high; even for brand new items, they are often within reach for most budgets!
So, if you're interested in vintage but have a tighter budget, consider starting with smaller accessories to experience the quality firsthand!
This particular large logo keychain is quite rare. Yes, it's for your house keys, car keys, or as a bag charm.
As a bag charm, it looks fantastic. Most people tend to favor a minimalist style. Adorning a bag without dense patterns with a large logo charm adds a subtle yet striking fashion highlight! This style is exceptionally rare, and once sold, it will be very difficult to restock.
⚐⚑˒˒The keychain is in excellent condition, almost like new! Japanese records indicate it's a dormant item, a rare large logo keychain.
Let's start with the most prominent part, the logo. It gleams brightly, showing no oxidation or discoloration, though some signs of being stored can be seen.
The leather is calfskin, with almost no visible signs of use, in great condition without any significant peeling or noticeable wear.
The metal ring is engraved with "LOEWE." Upon very close inspection, faint scratches can be seen, but no obvious marks.
Overall, it's in excellent condition. This is the first time I've acquired this particular keychain. It's rare to find such a clean accessory, especially with a large logo.
Crucially, it comes with its original box and tag, making it an ideal choice for those with a limited budget who appreciate unique small items! Its condition is so good, it's even suitable for gifting.

One of the main reasons I love pre-owned bags is that the materials from older eras are far superior to modern ones.
In the past, most pre-owned items were made by hand ✦, reflecting the warmth of craftsmanship before mass production.
Artisan skills are undoubtedly more refined than machines, much like how everyone appreciates items handmade by skilled craftspeople!
However, today, the vast majority of processes are automated with minimal human assembly, losing that exquisite detail from the past.
The simplest and most direct way to see this is to compare a modern brand's reissue of a classic monogram with a genuine old-school monogram;
the level of detail in the monogram pattern alone is entirely different. If you love monograms, seek out pre-owned pieces! Truly!
In terms of style, older designs were typically ✦ simpler, timeless, and enduring. Many modern designs are actually revivals of older styles.
Yet, new designs are priced higher than their vintage counterparts. New designs are usually based on older models, with added details or modifications.
The final product often ends up more complex (or peculiar......) than the original vintage piece. As we grow older, we realize that the simpler, the more enduring!
As we age, our clothing choices often return to basic styles because the more fundamental, the more versatile.
The raw material quality of older pieces is superior to newer ones. Anyone who understands ✦ leather can see that the materials used in new items are often secondary to those used in older pieces.
This is mainly because the cost of high-quality raw materials is too high today, and their availability is limited. Earth's resources are dwindling...
Furthermore, brands back then didn't have the ubiquitous presence they do now... Their clientele typically had a certain income level and high expectations for the finished product.
The concept of "fast fashion" didn't exist; a bag was expected to be used for many years.
The difference between new and old is clearly visible in the ✦ hardware. Many new bags' hardware oxidizes and discolors after just a year or two,
but vintage pieces usually don't. Besides the high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship, hardware from earlier eras was often plated with real K gold!
It's worth mentioning that Chanel Vintage is expensive for a reason; many of its clasps and chains contain real gold, certified by gold merchants!
This is why, even for vintage bags from the 60s and 70s, the hardware can still gleam today if properly preserved.
For new items available now, based on my knowledge, no brand uses K gold in their hardware, making it prone to oxidation.
Many say buying vintage bags is a form of investment because they rarely depreciate and often appreciate in value.
The market for pre-owned bags in good condition is shrinking. One by one, they disappear. Remember, each of these items is out of production.
The number that exists in the world is finite, so they will only become fewer, more expensive, and harder to find.
Moreover, many brands periodically increase their prices, each adjustment driving up the prices in the pre-owned market.
If a brand releases a "reissue," the reference or similar vintage pieces will see a direct price increase!
Adding to this, in recent years, Japanese and Korean celebrities have favored vintage items. Once an item is seen on a celebrity, its price can skyrocket.
During such periods, many people will frantically search for that specific item or a similar alternative, causing the prices of those few items to multiply...
Therefore, with vintage, it's truly "buy early, enjoy longer; buy late, pay more" (this isn't an advertisement slogan... it's a truth in the vintage world...).
This is my personal experience; I regret not getting into certain series earlier... I can't find them now, or if I do, the price is astronomical...
However, even knowing the price is exorbitant, you might feel compelled to buy, as waiting will only lead to higher prices (unless the condition is poor).
I often get asked about bag maintenance (ᐢ.ˬ.ᐢ). I'll include small care instructions inside the bag, so don't worry.
My personal habit is to give them a good polish when I'm tidying up my closet during seasonal changes (which makes seasonal changes quite a project... |||).
Actually, pre-owned bags aren't difficult to maintain. Once you're new to this, it's simply about getting used to regular care and cherishing your bag. Once it becomes a habit, it's not difficult.
The materials of pre-owned bags are inherently excellent. As long as you don't use them roughly and preserve them well, they can easily last another decade and be passed down to your daughter!
Every pre-owned bag I collect is one I personally love, so I hope you will love it too and continue to preserve it ☪︎ *.。
