Vegetable tanning refers to the process of tanning cowhide with plant tannins. This method is not only time-consuming and costly, but it also greatly reduces damage to the environment and is less burdensome to human skin. Vegetable tanned cowhide leather contains only natural animal and plant ingredients, and does not contain heavy metals... and other harmful ingredients found in other leathers.
After the vegetable tanned leather is tanned, no further processing is performed. The leather surface retains the natural texture and luster of the leather itself, which is soft and translucent. Vegetable tanned leather will gradually darken in color due to exposure to the sun, touch, use and maintenance. It may also develop spots or color blocks due to dripping of oil or water. This is all normal.

Regular maintenance can extend the life of the leather, and the Mori tree plant leather maintenance Wax contains natural beeswax ingredients, which can have a simple water-repellent function.
