The material is a thick, 2mm vegetable-tanned cowhide, renowned for its ability to develop a beautiful patina over time. The smooth, lustrous grain is characteristic of aniline-dyed leather. Bible size is the most popular, offering a wide variety of commercially available refills. With a 15mm ring diameter, it comfortably accommodates up to approximately 100 sheets of dedicated paper. To ensure you can start using it right away, we've included 50 sheets of our personal favorite, "Strap on Costa Rica Memory Refill SBBRF-G-01" 5mm grid paper. This thoughtful inclusion allows beginners to begin immediately and experienced users to minimize initial waste. You can personalize your notebook by combining it with various commercially available paper refills, diaries, indexes, and clear pockets. For maintenance, use a small amount of delicate cream. As this item experiences less stress than bags or shoes, the natural oils from your hands are often sufficient. Avoid over-application of leather creams or oils. The metal rings are screw-mounted for easy replacement should they ever break.
