Rounded sea pottery and sea glass, smoothed by waves over many years and washed ashore.
On the left, from top to bottom: blue sea glass, white with blue patterns, and beautiful translucent blue sea glass.
On the right, from top to bottom: extremely small green sea glass, white with blue check pattern, and vibrant light blue sea glass.
Sea glass in light blue and white are common, so green, blue, and deep light blue are rare colors *°
Though small, they are distinctive pieces where the Kintsugi gold truly shines, giving them a remarkable presence.
The charm of sea pottery also lies in how, depending on the position of the broken pattern, you can clearly discern the depicted design, or wonder what the picture was, or where it was used... sparking your imagination.
The surface is not coated with resin, allowing you to enjoy the unique texture of the pottery and the frosted glass-like feel of the sea glass ( ̮̈ )

〈About the work〉
※ The metal fitting part and the base part of Kintsugi are reinforced with UV resin. Please understand that there may be slight resin overflow.
※ For some pieces (such as those with translucency like sea glass or natural stones), the metal fittings may be changed to silver depending on the item. Please be assured that the material will not change.
※ Kintsugi is... a traditional Japanese technique used to beautifully repair ceramics that are chipped, cracked, or broken, using urushi lacquer and gold powder.
※ We use new urushi, which is less likely to cause allergic reactions, and gold powder (brass powder), rather than genuine urushi.
※ Since natural stones are natural, they may contain impurities, fine scratches, or small chips. Please understand that these are natural variations.
※ Please understand that uneven glaze is characteristic of handmade items.
In particular, Mino ware tiles often have uneven glazes on their sides.
※ As sensitivity to metal, resin, and urushi allergies varies from person to person, please refrain from using if it does not suit your skin and consult a dermatologist.
We are not responsible for any injuries, allergies, or other troubles caused by the product.
※ The actual color may differ slightly from the image depending on the monitor, brightness, and screen environment you are viewing.
〈Care instructions〉
※ Please handle gently, as applying strong force may cause damage.
※ Be careful not to rub the Kintsugi part strongly or soak it in water for long periods, as it may come off.
When cleaning, gently wipe away dirt with a soft cloth.
※ Store away from high temperatures, high humidity, and direct sunlight. This may cause discoloration.

※ Kintsugi (金繕い) is a unique Japanese traditional repair technique that joins broken or chipped ceramics using urushi lacquer and gold powder. This work uses a simplified Kintsugi method, employing new urushi (which is less likely to cause allergic reactions than genuine urushi derived from the sap of lacquer trees) and brass powder, reinforced with UV resin for added durability.
