Semi-porcelain clay / White slip / Iron-painted / Ash glaze size: Ø12 h2.7 cm The slip is crafted from Miaoli clay, and the ash glaze is derived from wood and grass ashes, gathered from plants grown on the same land, then meticulously prepared to create a natural, earthy grey. The clay is applied using brushes fashioned from dried grass or by hand. The artisan favors creating pieces that retain the texture and color of the clay, embracing handmade lines and a distinctive atmosphere, preserving a sense of raw, natural strength. Each ceramic piece is handcrafted, and actual colors and dimensions may vary. Glaze crawling, uneven glaze, or crackle patterns are unique expressions of the individual artwork. ・Not suitable for dishwashers, microwaves, or ovens. ・Ceramics possess a degree of absorbency. To prevent food stains, immediate washing after use is recommended. Alternatively, soaking the piece in water for a few minutes before use can help. ・The base of the ceramic is typically unglazed. After washing, it is best to place it upside down to air dry completely before storing.
