Its pyroelectric and piezoelectric properties release electrical charges, which can help balance the human body and clear its meridians, hence its name. Tourmaline is a semi-precious stone between a gemstone and a mineral. It is rich in various elements, and its name originates from the Sinhalese word "tura mali," meaning "mixed-colored stones." Black tourmaline is most renowned for its energy in dispelling and counteracting negative energy. ∆ Gemstones and minerals possess subtle magnetic fields.
