Soak in water for over three hours, ensuring the water level is slightly above the pad. 3. Once blood stains are removed, gently wash with detergent and hang to dry (in a ventilated bathroom or indoors, occasionally placing in sunlight for disinfection). Ensure the pad is completely dry before storing. 4. Soaking again with baking soda or sodium percarbonate can remove the yellowing without affecting usability. • For leak-proof pads, avoid wringing them out. Gently press out excess water with a towel and then hang to dry to prolong their lifespan.
