A common potting mix is a blend of 2 parts garden soil, 1 part manure-based compost, and 0.5 parts each of leaf mold and rice husk ash. This soil is relatively heavy, retains moisture well, and is rich in nutrients, promoting healthy growth. ☛ Environment and Adaptability Rhapis Excelsa is native to southern China. It prefers a warm, humid, and well-ventilated semi-shady environment.
