Acacia confusa, a leguminous evergreen tree, is called "Xiangsi" (meaning longing or love) and is part of the legume family. The beans it produces are known as "Xiangsi beans." Acacia wood is dense and is often used for tunnel support. It's also the best wood for charcoal production, yielding a strong, long-lasting fire with minimal smoke. The acacia wood used in our studio is sourced from domestically grown timber promoted by the Forestry Bureau and has undergone heat treatment. This process stabilizes the wood and imparts a pleasant, toasted aroma. This new wooden pen/ball pen features a German SCHMIDT nib and a screw-on cap. The minimalist design accentuates the wood's natural grain, and each pen is meticulously handcrafted. * The fountain pen nib is a Medium (M) tip from the German brand SCHMIDT. * For fountain pen orders, a SCHMIDT ink converter is included.
