How to Measure Your Foot Correctly? Place a blank A4 sheet of paper on a flat, smooth, and even surface. Stand on the paper. Using a pen or pencil, mark the back of your heel and the furthest point from your heel (note: this is not always your longest toe). Use a ruler to measure the distance between these two points on your foot (a difference of ±0.5 cm is possible). The resulting number is your foot's length.
