Each piece is handcrafted, resulting in slight variations in dimensions. Clay and glaze colors may differ due to variations in kiln atmosphere and temperature. These are the charming characteristics of handmade ceramics. It is not recommended to use earthenware in electric steamers, microwaves, ovens, or over direct heat. Avoid sudden temperature changes (rapid cooling and heating) to prevent cracking or damage, unless the piece is made from fire-resistant clay (sandpot clay). 2. If the ceramic ware is intended for use as tableware, please rinse and clean any surface dirt before the first use. For cleaning, use a sponge or a soft scrubber with mild dish soap. Do not use steel wool or other abrasive materials that may scratch the surface. Finally, wipe with a dry cloth and allow to air dry in a well-ventilated area to prevent mold. 3. Hot water and hot food can be served. The glaze surface may gradually develop fine cracks after repeated heating and cooling, which is a normal phenomenon. Each trace of use will be absorbed by the pottery, and the color and texture will gradually embody the warmth of your daily life. 4. Matte glazes tend to show tea stains and dark food marks more readily than glossy glazes. Crackled areas of the glaze can also accumulate tea and coffee stains, serving as a record of your daily use. These can be cleaned and removed using products like baking soda, citric acid, or a magic sponge, without affecting usability.
