Embroidered patches are commonly known as fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidered appliques. However, most fabric patches require ironing to adhere to fabric or to cover holes in clothing. Our embroidered patches feature an adhesive backing that allows them to be directly applied to smooth, non-fabric surfaces without ironing. They are perfect as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more. Let's create something unique with these patches! 🏷 How do I use embroidered patches? Using our embroidered patches is simple: ▪️ For smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the adhesive backing and stick it on. No ironing needed, and it stays put! ▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C (300°F). Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery threads from high heat. Iron for 20-25 seconds. Allow it to cool completely for a secure bond. For added durability, reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, you can also sew them onto fabric using a sewing machine or by hand for a secure attachment! 🏷 What if I can't iron the fabric, or I'm unsure if it can be ironed? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabrics) or if you're unsure about ironing, we recommend sewing them on with a sewing machine or by hand to prevent damage from high heat. 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will they fall off easily? Our embroidered patches have a strong adhesive backing that adheres well to general smooth, non-fabric surfaces and is not easily removed. For fabric applications (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), ironing and sewing for reinforcement will increase their durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches fall off if washed? Once ironed and sewn for reinforcement, the embroidered patches can be machine washed without easily falling off. We recommend washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive backing on our embroidered patches is for single use and cannot be reapplied. We suggest determining the placement before applying. If you remove them and wish to reuse them, the fabric patch itself can still be sewn or hand-stitched onto fabric for decoration. 🏷 Will there be residue after removing the embroidered patch? Due to the strong adhesive, some residue may be left behind after removal. This residue can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive removers. Please check if your item's surface material is compatible with the cleaning agent before use to avoid damaging your item. Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue; the adhesive will melt with heat, making it stickier and harder to remove.
