Full Leather Midsole No Insole The leather midsole and outsole are stitched together with waxed thread. The midsole and heel area are reinforced with steel nails. When first wearing shoes with a full leather sole, the leather sole may feel a bit stiff. It typically takes about 7-10 days of wear to allow the leather to absorb moisture and adapt to the shape of your foot. Then, measure the straight-line distance between these two points. **Measuring Foot Circumference** Use a soft tape measure to wrap around the widest part of your foot, measuring the overall circumference including the foot's thickness.
