We will provide photos for your confirmation before shipping. ................. | About Fu Chang Kiln's Celadon Craquelure | We pursue simplicity, so we intentionally create a single layer of craquelure. Visually, after seasoning, it will exhibit cracks resembling the shell of a tea egg. These patterns form as the kiln cools and will continue to change, not remaining static. Before seasoning, you can use your phone's flashlight to view the general direction of the cracks. These cracks do not affect functionality. As you use the piece, the color will seep into the cracks. Black lines are called "iron wire," ochre lines are "shoushan blood lines," and brown lines are "gold threads." The varied appearance gives each piece a sense of vitality. ................. | Precautions | - Fu Chang Kiln pottery is fired at high temperatures of 1240 degrees Celsius and can be safely cleaned with a scouring pad or placed in a dishwasher.
