Biological Illustration Postcard Series - Botanical Illustrations by Ms. Cheng Hsing-Chien

❤️ We explored a variety of subjects, including seasonal flowers, birds and beasts, insects, reptiles, and marine shells. ❤️ We experimented with different mediums, such as sketching pencils, oil-based colored pencils, and watercolors. During the workshops, everyone admired each other's artwork and marveled at the teacher's demonstrations. Even unfinished pieces possessed a beautiful charm, and these moments lingered in our minds, sparking the desire to create our own postcard collections. We are grateful to the artists for granting us permission to use their work for production by Shi Yan Suo. This collection is printed on 250g professional watercolor paper, accompanied by the artist's detailed annotations and scientific names of the species.
