The solder will oxidize upon contact with air, a process most noticeable with the copper finish. It transforms from bright copper to antique copper, eventually deepening to a dark brown. Therefore, the final piece will **never** be identical to the photograph. We cannot control how the patina develops. If you are concerned about the natural variations in the oxidized copper finish, please request a black solder finish from the designer, which exhibits the least change. Vintage glass, some with decades of history, may display inherent characteristics such as minor scratches, color variations, or air bubbles due to age and environmental exposure. Tiny scratches or chips on the edges, often occurring during the glass grinding process, are also considered normal, particularly for clear glass and mirrors. ▴ The patterns and colors of the glass are unique and singular. No two identical items will be exactly alike. Please engage in thorough understanding and discussion with the designer before placing your order. ▴ Solder finishes, whether dyed or not, may develop a patina or darken over time due to air exposure, with the copper finish showing the most significant transformation. ▴ Do not use this item for food storage. Even 99% pure solder is not food-grade tin. ▴ Some un-drilled containers can hold water, but this will accelerate the oxidation of the solder, potentially leading to the formation of white crystals. ▴ To promote environmental sustainability, we use simple packaging for all shipments. ▴ For the protection of your rights, please record a video of the unboxing process. Care Instructions: ▴ Over time, the solder surface will develop an oxide layer from prolonged contact with air. This can be gently removed with a toothpick. Regular dusting with a dry cotton cloth is recommended for daily maintenance. ▴ For enhanced care, a thin layer of water wax (or soft wax) can be applied to the surface. Once dry, buff to a shine with a dry cotton cloth.
