Care Instructions:
Watering
*Avoid keeping the soil constantly moist*
Ginkgo trees are not particularly demanding when it comes to watering.
When caring for them, be mindful to prevent prolonged waterlogging.
As a general rule, water when the soil has dried out.
*During cooler seasons, outside of intense heatwaves in summer or late summer,
it's acceptable even if the soil dries out completely and you don't water it immediately.*
It's somewhat similar to caring for a cactus;
as long as you can resist the urge to water it too often,
it's actually quite easy to manage.
Since it's currently in a miniature pot,
during hot weather, consider placing the pot inside a slightly larger decorative pot
to prevent the original pot from overheating and potentially damaging the roots.
Additionally, ensure you replenish water as needed.
Water Thoroughly
You'll know it's time to water thoroughly when you see water draining from the bottom of the pot.
To avoid missteps, repeating this step twice can be helpful.
