Embroidered patches are often called embroidered fabric patches, fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidered appliques. However, most embroidered fabric patches require ironing to adhere and are typically used to decorate fabric materials or to mend holes in clothing. Our embroidered patches have an adhesive backing that is sticky without ironing, allowing them to be attached to smooth, non-fabric surfaces. They are perfect for water bottle stickers, phone case stickers, laptop stickers, notebook stickers, pencil case stickers, helmet stickers, luggage stickers, and more! Using our embroidered patches is very simple~ ▪️ Smooth, Non-Fabric Surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick it on. No ironing is needed, and it stays put! ▪️ Fabric Surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery thread from high heat. Iron for 20-25 seconds, moving back and forth. Let it cool completely to ensure it's firmly attached. For added durability, reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing it on with a sewing machine or by hand will also secure it firmly! 🏷 What if the fabric cannot be ironed or I'm unsure if it can be ironed? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabric) or if you are unsure about ironing, we recommend sewing it on with a sewing machine or by hand to avoid damaging your fabric with high heat! 🏷 How strong is the adhesive on the embroidered patches? Do they fall off easily? Our embroidered patches have ample adhesive backing. They are not likely to fall off when applied to general smooth, non-fabric surfaces. If attaching to fabric (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), please iron it for a secure bond and then sew it for added durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches fall off if washed? Once ironed and reinforced with sewing, the embroidered patches can be washed in a washing machine without easily falling off. We recommend washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reused? The adhesive backing on our embroidered patches is designed for single use and cannot be reapplied. We recommend confirming your desired placement before sticking. If you peel it off and wish to reuse it, the fabric surface of the embroidered patch can still be sewn onto fabric for decoration! 🏷 Will there be residue after removing an embroidered patch? The adhesive on our embroidered patches is strong, and some residue may remain after removal. You can use sticker removers or adhesive removers to clean up any residue. Before using any remover, please check if your item's surface material is compatible to avoid damage! Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue.
