Vintage Polish embossed serving dish with Fragonard design and gold rim made by Chodziez. The history of the Chodziez faience factory starts in 1852 or 1854 when Hermann Müller and Ludwik Schnorr bought a burnt building of the Grudzinski castle from Count Koenigsmarck.
After 1992, the factory started operating as Zakłady Porcelany i Porcelitu Chodzież S.A. The mark at the bottom of this item was introduced in 1964. This item is in undamaged, good condition with some small surface marks due to usage in the center and a couple small production flaws at the bottom. The photographs are a part of the description.
