Celine's "Fries Bag" is undeniably chic and incredibly versatile, making it a standout piece among vintage Celine finds – a must-have! While Celine offered several variations of the Fries Bag, the one with the circular pocket watch chain closure is particularly distinctive but rare. However, this version with the horseshoe buckle closure is equally exquisite and unique. Both of these styles are my personal favorites. The Fries Bag comes in both leather and monogram canvas options. The monogram version offers a more casual vibe, while the leather style exudes a classic elegance, each with its own distinct appeal. This particular find is a rare and beautiful ecru hue, exuding a gentle and sophisticated aura. The overall condition of the bag is exceptional. The leather is smooth and lustrous, the piping is free from dryness or scuffing, and the interior and exterior are pristine. The hardware gleams brightly. Apart from some minor indentations on the leather near the bottom back of the bag (as shown in image 10), the entire piece is remarkably new and beautiful – a truly rare condition for this bag!
