The celadon’s green is refined and subtle, its shades appearing like clouds or mist, or like jade radiating light. Legend has it that the poet emperor Huizong of Song described this green as: "Like the sky after rain, breaking through the clouds – make this color." ................... If you have specific requirements regarding details, please let us know. We will provide photos for your confirmation before shipping. ................. | About Fuchang Kiln's Celadon Crazing | We pursue simplicity, so we have intentionally created a single layer of crazing. Visually, after maturation, it will resemble the crackle of a tea-stained eggshell. These cracks form as the piece cools after firing and will continue to change; they are not fixed. Before maturation, you can use your phone's flashlight to view the general pattern of the cracks. These cracks do not affect the functionality of the piece. As it is used, colors will seep into the cracks: Black is referred to as iron-wire pattern, reddish-brown as "shàn xuè wén" (eel blood pattern), and brown as "golden thread pattern." The varied appearance gives each piece a sense of vitality. ................. | Notes | - Fuchang Kiln pottery is fired at a high temperature of 1240°C and can be safely cleaned with a scrubbing sponge or in a dishwasher. (Excluding products with wooden handles; wooden items must be kept dry) - Ceramic pieces made of a single material can be heated in an oven or electric cooker. - Pottery is fragile. It will be carefully packaged before shipping; if damaged during transit, please notify us within 3 days of receipt for further processing. - Colors in photos may differ slightly from the actual product due to lighting, angles, and display methods. Please refer to the actual product. - Wooden plates are shipped randomly. They retain the natural color of the wood and are not artificially colored.
