Hua Ya, also known as "Ya Zi", originated in the Tang Dynasty of China, flourished in the Song Dynasty, and reached its peak in the Yuan Dynasty, so it is also called "Yuan Ya". Most of them are "Ya Zi" (some are no longer a kind of text, but only a personal mark) written arbitrarily by individuals. Because they are difficult to imitate, they can also achieve the same anti-counterfeiting effect as stamp. In the Tang Dynasty, it was popular among scholars to sign their names in cursive script, which was called "Hua Ya" or "Cao Ya". There is also a word "huayao" in Japanese, which means a personalized signature. It is a Chinese word borrowed from the Tang Dynasty during the Heian period in Japan. The picture shows three recently designed handwritten monograms, namely "Cong Hao", "Qing Yun" and "Zhi Bo". The design of the monogram is time-consuming, and the brushwork is secondary. I need to think about it while writing, interpret the structure and the method of writing, and go through the strokes again and again. I have to write it until I am satisfied with it before I can finalize it. Each monogram takes about 1-2 hours depending on the difficulty. The monogram is to prevent people from easily identifying it, but it does not mean that you can write it at will. It is based on strict cursive writing, the structure and combination of cursive characters, and the natural writing. The final characters are interpreted by me writing them over and over again, and can withstand the appraisal and scrutiny of anyone who understands calligraphy and cursive writing. Therefore, after the final draft, no modification requests will be accepted.
